Acceptance
By accessing or using VeritaWire, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
If you use VeritaWire for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes that organization. When we ask you to accept a materially revised version of these Terms, continued use of paid features or certain account actions may require affirmative acceptance, without limiting cancellation rights or other rights that cannot be waived.
Service Description
VeritaWire monitors for detected Donald Trump Truth Social posts and delivers alerts through a public feed and a WebSocket API offered through a time-limited Free trial and paid plans. WebSocket delivery timing varies by access tier, and all surfaces may experience additional source, network, or processing latency.
Eligibility and Accounts
You must be able to form a binding contract to use paid VeritaWire features. You are responsible for keeping your login method, account session, billing access, and API keys secure. You must provide accurate account and billing information and promptly update it when needed.
Free WebSocket API Trial
Eligible Free accounts receive one 72-hour WebSocket API trial per account at the Free tier’s 60-second delivery target. For a new account, the trial starts when its first authenticated WebSocket connection successfully opens, not when an API key is created or viewed. An existing Free account transitioned to the trial model may instead receive a trial start date and deadline shown in Account.
When the trial ends, Free API streaming stops. The API key may remain saved and can reactivate automatically after the account starts a paid plan. The public browser feed remains available separately under its displayed delay and other applicable service rules.
Paid Plans, Billing, and Cancellations
Paid plans are subscription services billed through Stripe. Prices, plan features, and billing intervals are shown at checkout or on the pricing page. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can manage eligible billing settings through the account page or Stripe billing portal.
Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated by VeritaWire. If a payment fails or a subscription is canceled, expires, disputed, or reversed, we may suspend or terminate paid access.
API Keys and WebSocket Use
API keys are for the account holder only, whether used during the Free trial or with paid access. Do not share, sell, publish, embed in public client-side code, or otherwise expose API keys. You are responsible for activity under your keys. We may revoke, rotate, throttle, suspend, or disable API access to protect the service, enforce these Terms, respond to abuse, or comply with law.
No Investment Advice
VeritaWire does not recommend securities, commodities, crypto assets, prediction-market contracts, trading strategies, brokers, exchanges, or transaction timing. Alerts may be incomplete, delayed, inaccurate, duplicated, reordered, unavailable, or misinterpreted by you or your systems. You use the service and alerts at your own risk and are solely responsible for your own research, decisions, orders, trades, hedges, losses, and compliance obligations.
Trading and Automated Use
VeritaWire is not an order-execution, order-routing, portfolio-management, or risk-management system. You must not treat any alert as the sole basis for a trade or automated action. You are responsible for independently verifying source information and deciding whether any action is appropriate for your objectives, financial circumstances, and risk tolerance.
If you connect VeritaWire to automated or latency-sensitive systems, you are responsible for appropriate safeguards, including idempotency and duplicate handling, source validation where appropriate, position and order limits, maximum-loss controls, monitoring, redundancy, and a tested kill switch. You assume the risk that a market may move before, during, or after an alert, and that an order may be rejected, delayed, duplicated, partially filled, or executed at an unexpected price.
Availability and Alert Accuracy
We aim to provide fast and reliable delivery, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, specific latency, complete coverage, detection of every source post, error-free alert payloads, or delivery before any market or other participant reacts. Posts or alerts may be missed, delayed, duplicated, reordered, replayed, or unavailable.
Displayed detection-to-delivery latency is intended to estimate the interval from when a post becomes publicly retrievable through Truth Social’s delivery layer — not from the post’s displayed publication time or created_at timestamp — to when VeritaWire publishes the alert to connected listeners. Because public fetchability is observed through polling, the start time is estimated rather than directly known.
Any latency figure described as approximate, historical, median, typical, a target, or shown in a performance chart — including “~500ms” — is an observed aggregate or service target for the measurement interval described on the website. It is not a maximum latency, source-to-trade measurement, service-level agreement, warranty, or guarantee for any individual post. Plan timing describes an intended delivery delay or tier treatment, not guaranteed total delivery time.
Any “at-least-once” or replay description is a best-effort delivery semantic for posts that VeritaWire successfully detects and retains in the applicable buffer. It does not guarantee detection, retention, replay, or receipt. You must deduplicate alerts by their identifier.
Acceptable Use
- Do not interfere with, overload, scrape, reverse engineer, or attempt to bypass security controls.
- Do not use VeritaWire to violate law, platform rights, intellectual property rights, market rules, or exchange rules.
- Do not resell, sublicense, redistribute, or commercially repackage the service or alert stream unless we agree in writing.
- Do not use the service to transmit malware, spam, abusive traffic, or unauthorized automated requests.
Public Source and Affiliation Disclaimer
VeritaWire is not affiliated with Donald Trump, Truth Social, Trump Media & Technology Group, or their affiliates. Source posts, names, handles, avatars, trademarks, and linked materials belong to their respective owners. VeritaWire may display links, excerpts, or metadata for identification and alerting purposes.
Intellectual Property
VeritaWire owns the website, service design, software, documentation, branding, and non-source content we create. Subject to these Terms and your active plan, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for your own internal alerting and monitoring purposes.
Third-Party Services
VeritaWire depends on Truth Social and other third-party providers for source content, authentication, payments, hosting, databases, alert delivery, communications, metrics, domains, and other infrastructure. We do not control or endorse third-party content and do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, timeliness, continued availability, or continued technical format.
To the extent permitted by law, VeritaWire is not responsible for an error, delay, omission, interruption, transmission failure, rate limit, format change, access restriction, equipment or software malfunction, communications or power failure, cyber incident, or non-performance caused by a third party or an event beyond our reasonable control.
Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the service, fail to pay, misuse API access, or if continued access could expose VeritaWire or others to legal, security, financial, or operational risk. You may stop using the service at any time and cancel paid access through available billing tools.
Subject to mandatory law, VeritaWire is not liable for losses resulting from a lawful suspension, termination, discontinuation, or modification made under these Terms.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, VeritaWire disclaims all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and reliability. No information or statement outside a separate written agreement signed by VeritaWire creates a warranty, guarantee, fiduciary duty, or service-level commitment.
Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for intent, gross negligence, culpable injury to life, body, or health, liability under the German Product Liability Act, an expressly assumed guarantee, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. The same applies to conduct by our legal representatives and agents where applicable.
For a slightly negligent breach of a material contractual obligation whose performance is necessary for the proper performance of this agreement and on which you may ordinarily rely, VeritaWire’s liability is limited to damage that was reasonably foreseeable and typical for this type of agreement. Liability for other slightly negligent breaches is excluded to the extent permitted by law.
Subject to the preceding paragraphs and to the fullest extent permitted by law, VeritaWire will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, trading, investment, market, data, revenue, profit, business-interruption, loss-of-opportunity, slippage, substitute-data, or substitute-service losses, regardless of legal theory and even if the possibility of such loss was disclosed. Where a monetary cap is legally permissible, our total liability for claims related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid to VeritaWire for the service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim, or $100 if you used only free features.
Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify VeritaWire against third-party claims, losses, liabilities, damages, and reasonable legal costs arising from your culpable unlawful use of the service, your systems or API keys, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights. This obligation applies only to the extent you are responsible for the circumstances giving rise to the claim. We will provide reasonable notice of a covered claim and will not require you to accept a settlement that imposes non-monetary obligations on you without your consent.
Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections provided by the law that would apply without this clause.
The courts in Berlin, Germany have exclusive jurisdiction where you are a merchant, a legal entity under public law, a special fund under public law, have no general place of jurisdiction in Germany, or where an exclusive Berlin venue is otherwise legally permitted. In all other cases, statutory venue rules apply.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain effective. The invalid or unenforceable provision will be replaced by the applicable statutory rule. This does not alter any mandatory rights available to consumers.
Changes to the Service or Terms
We may change the service, plans, features, pricing, or these Terms from time to time. When we make material Terms changes, we will update the date above and provide notice appropriate to the change. Where required, paid users must affirmatively accept the revised Terms before using affected account features. You may cancel paid access if you do not agree to a material change.
